January 15 was the deadline for submitting project proposals under the 2018 “Knowledge and Growth” Call announced by Ruse Free Spirit City Foundation. Thirty-four projects amounting to a total of 474 585, 46 BGN were submitted to the Foundation.
The sum requested from Ruse Free Spirit City Foundation amounts to 251 411 BGN.
“Angel Kanchev” University of Ruse, non-governmental organisations, schools, school boards and community centres from Ruse are among the applicants.
In accordance with the previously announced regulation, the project ideas are to undergo a two-stage evaluation procedure – administrative compliance and eligibility and evaluation of the project proposal under certain criteria:
Priority will be given to projects which:
- bring together more than three institutions or organisations, actively involved in the project implementation;
- have more than 50 % own financial contribution;
- give access to knowledge and skills development to as many people as possible;
The commission which will evaluate the project ideas consists of:
