The faces of Ruse

The young conductor and pianist Dimitar Kosev is a graduate of the National School of Arts Prof. Veselin Stoyanov - Ruse. He has participated in numerous master classes and is a winner of many competitions. Immediately after graduation he is accepted in Prayner Konservatorium in Vienna, Austira, where he studies Conducting and Piano major in the class of Professor Maximilian Cencic and Professor Stefan Möller. He graduated with honours in 2014. In 2013 he was invited to be the main pianist of the opera Fang den König with which he toured around Germany and Austria and in the beginning of 2014 he toured in Soweto and Johannesburg, South Africa. He made his debut as conductor in Bulgaria in November 2013 at the opening of the International Franz Schubert competition. In the beginning of 2015 he conducted the New Year's concert of Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra. He has played in the bands Division One, Lumberjack Blues Band, Jimi Nicoll Blues Band, Paulo Luemba - Family Business, Alive ´N Kickin, Kristal Bardess and together with the Vladigerovi brothers as a bassist, pianist and drummer. In November 2014 he became part of Vienna Traditional Classic Orchestra. In the beginning of 2015 Dimitar Kosev was awarded with golden badge Ruse by the Mayor of Ruse Municipality Mr Plamen Stoilov.
