Deputy Mayor for Spatial Planning Dimitar Nakov closed the 3D Street Art Festival "3D-worlds in the city silhouette of Ruse" and awarded the artists who participated in it.
“This year we have had a lot of new initiatives integrated in the cultural life of Ruse and I hope that we will turn this into a tradition”, said the Deputy Mayor.
The four 3-D street art paintings created within the festival can be seen on “Svoboda” Square, where the 3-D masters worked the last four days.
Vera Bugatti from Italy painted “The Puppeteer”, Ruben Poncia from the Netherlands – “The Spirit of Ruse”, Adriana Garcia from Mexico – “Traditions Give Us Face” and Carlos Garcia from Mexico – “The River of Freedom”. They are renowned artists, who have created street art works in cities such as London, Melbourn, Berlin, Sao Paolo and New York which are in the top 5 of the cities with most inspiring street works.
The children and young people who participated in the youth academy and children’s workshop for 3D painting, which took place within the framework of the festival, were awarded diplomas and awards.
The "3D-worlds in the city silhouette of Ruse" is implemented by Association European Youth Path with the financial support of Ruse Municipality “Culture” Programme, Ruse Free Spirit City Municipal Foundation and sponsors.
