World rock hits and roaring motors rocked Ruse during Green Rock Fest 2017

Rock music fans from Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia gathered in Ruse and experienced unforgettable emotions during the ninth edition of Green Rock Fest. The event was opened by the rock band from Silistra “Novacain”, followed by performances from two Ruse bands “Born For Vengeance” and “Gunpowder”. The musicians from the Serbian band “Alogia” played songs from their repertoire as well as world rock hits. The roaring motorbikes of motorclub LOWLANDERS announced the arrival of the Romanian rock band “Scarlet Aura”. The band’s lead vocal Aura Danciulescu arrived on stage on a motorcycle and had white wings on her shoulders.

The lead singer of American rock band “Steelheart” Miljenko Matijevic, who visits Bulgaria for the first time at the invitation of Ruse Free Spirit City Foundation, was greeted by the audience with stormy applause. He performed impressive acoustic versions of his songs. The special guest star of the festival performed part of the songs together with Serbian rock band “Alogia”. The audience had the opportunity to enjoy hits like “We All Die Young”,  “Everybody Loves Eileen”, “Blood Pollution”, as well as the rock ballad “She's gone”, which brought Miljenko and his band world fame.

The festival ended with performances by the cult Bulgarian rock band “Tangra”, with the musicians playing some of their biggest hits.
