Two young pianists from Ruse National School of Arts Yoana Delimarkova and Nikolay Dimitrov will have two performances in front of the New York audience. On November 29 they will play at Carnegie Hall as winners in the The American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition. They won third prize as a duet and Nikolay also won third prize as an individual performer.
Yoana and Nikolay will also perform at the hall of the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York City. Their concert will be a gift for Thanksgiving for the Bulgarian community in New York. It is organized by the Bulgarian Consulate General, Bulgarian Cultural Salon and the Bulgarian church in New York.
13-year-old Nikolay Dimitrov and 12-year-old Yoana Delimarkova are students of piano teacher Daniela Kyurkchieva who will accompany them to New York. Their journey is financed by Ruse Free Spirit Municipal Foundation и Professor Veselin Stoyanov National School of Arts.
